AHOUSE | Contemporary A-Frame Retreat

$89,000.00Price

A distinctive home. A different pace of life.

Imagine opening the curtains to your favourite outlook, with the height of an A-frame roof above you and a comfortable place to unwind. AHOUSE brings architectural character to a compact home, combining a generous glazed frontage with the warmth of timber-look finishes. It is a design for people who want their space to feel special, whether it becomes a personal retreat, a home for two or a welcoming place for guests.

PTH brings design, smart sourcing and coordinated supply together. By working directly with designers and manufacturers, we can offer well-designed, quality components at more accessible package prices than comparable retail options. Coordinating your selected finishes and components as one package also helps us look for better overall value. We set out the agreed building kit in your quotation so you can plan the local work with a clear supply scope.

Make it feel like yours. We can customise the layout and size to suit your needs, your site and the way you want to live. Share your preferred room arrangement, dimensions and finishes with us so we can explore the right fit. Customisation is subject to feasibility, engineering and approval requirements, with the agreed design confirmed in your quotation and final contract.

Why AHOUSE?

Character you can feel. The steeply pitched roof gives the interior a sense of height and makes the A-frame form part of the experience of being at home.

Your outlook becomes part of the room. Generous front glazing connects the living space with its setting. Choosing the orientation thoughtfully can help you enjoy the view while considering privacy, shade and comfort.

A considered way to achieve the look. Coordinating the structure, glazing and finishes from the outset helps you decide where to invest your budget, with selected items set out in the supply package.

Choose the layout that suits your life

AHOUSE is worth exploring for a couple seeking a compact home with character, a lifestyle-property owner planning a retreat, or someone creating a private space for guests. If you are considering holiday accommodation, we can discuss the design brief alongside the requirements for your intended use.

The reference specification lists 34.1 m² of internal area. The gallery includes a ground-floor and loft concept, so access to the sleeping space, headroom and everyday movement deserve attention when choosing your layout. The gallery drawing is indicative; its dimensions and room arrangement need to be reconciled with the selected specification before you rely on it for planning.

Key features

A steep A-frame profile and generous glazed frontage create the distinctive architectural character.

The reference specification includes a light-gauge steel structural system, insulated building assemblies and WPC timber-look exterior cladding.

Double-glazed aluminium windows and external doors, together with nominated floor and wall finishes, provide a starting point for discussing comfort, durability and the look you prefer.

Planning your budget

The indicative house-kit price is A$89,000. Prefabricated supply can help manage some costs compared with traditional construction, while the complete project budget depends on your design choices and site. Your quotation confirms selected materials and supplied components. Allow separately for delivery, approvals, site preparation, foundations, local assembly, installation and service connections.

What you receive

The reference kit includes the structural frame; roof, external and internal wall systems; specified insulation; floor system and nominated finishes; aluminium windows and external doors; standard fascia and gutters; and a bathroom package with toilet, vanity, shower enclosure and tapware.

The specification also lists electrical wiring and plumbing provisions. Confirm their supplied form and the work required on site in your quotation. Kitchen cabinetry, appliances, storage and any optional upgrades should be discussed and itemised explicitly.

Delivery and final inclusions

We coordinate the agreed supply and delivery arrangements with you. Transport, access and unloading requirements are established for the destination and included in the project quotation as applicable.

Inclusions and exclusions

All inclusions are subject to the final contract.
